    State Advocacy

    AGC of Mississippi is actively strengthening its advocacy efforts to better represent the interests of the construction industry at the state level. The association monitors legislative and regulatory developments and works to engage members on issues that affect the business climate for construction in Mississippi.

    Member participation is an important part of this effort, and additional initiatives are being developed to expand AGC of Mississippi's impact in the years ahead.

    Federal Advocacy

    Through your membership with AGC of Mississippi, you are connected to the national advocacy efforts of the Associated General Contractors of America. AGC of America maintains a permanent presence in Washington, D.C., with a government affairs team that works directly with Congress and federal agencies.

    National priorities include infrastructure investment, workforce development, tax policy, regulatory reform, and other issues critical to the success of construction firms. AGC of America also supports these efforts through its federal political action committee and nationwide grassroots network.
