CHARTER STATEMENT
To help the AGC of Mississippi be the association of choice for utility contractors by:
- Listening to and representing utility contractors within the MSAGC
Chapter
- Influencing policy, within and outside of MSAGC, that affects utility contractors
- Developing and delivering products and services at the chapter level that enhance the ability of utility contractors to compete successfully in the marketplace

DIVISION SCOPE
The Division provides management and market services to contractors engaged in water and wastewater, underground utility, site preparation, and other types of public works construction The Division serves as liaison to and monitors other water, wastewater and utility owner and user groups in the public and private sectors Division committees and functions include:
MUNICIPAL-UTILITIES COORDINATING COMMITTEE
To stimulate and coordinate interest and participation of Municipa Utility contractors at the chapter and regional level and to serve as liaison between Municipa Utility contractors and the state and federal government.
TRENCHLESS TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE
To provide members with up-to-date information on the various techniques and developments in the field of trenchless technology.
The Trenchless Technology Committee also promotes education and sponsors seminars on trenchless techniques.
Division joint committees provide a forum for matters of mutual interest to the members of various organizations:
- AMERICAN PUBLIC WORKS ASSN-AGC JOINT COMMITTEE
- AMERICAN WATER WORKS ASSN-AGC JOINT COMMITTEE
- WATER AND WASTEWATER EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION
- AMERICAN CONSULTING ENGINEERS COUNCIL-MSAGC JOINT COMMITTEE
PARTNERING AND OUTREACH
Through the efforts of our joint liaison committees, MSAGC has signed formal partnerlng agreements with the following associations.
- American Consulting Engineers Council
- American Public Works Association
- American Water Works Association
The Division exhibits and presents annually for these partners as well as other groups The Division is developing new relationships with other associations including:
- Assn. of Metropolitan Sewer Agencies
- Assn. of Metropolitan Water Agencies
- The National Society of Professional Engineers
- Water Environment Federation
- Department of Environmental Quality
